The experience of communal singing in this year-long program will help instill a love of music in young singers, while developing their vocal technique, their music theory understanding, and their sight-singing skills. Our weekly rehearsals will integrate musicianship and vocal study into the development of song repertoire, giving children a music education in addition to the fun of singing together and preparing for their performances. Singers will also have opportunities to take leadership roles and to audition for solos. The music selections range in genre and are drawn from musical theatre, world folk, classical, songs from the screen, and pop classics from legends like The Beatles, Coldplay, ABBA and Oscar Peterson.
Session Tuition - $890 plus HST
