4-5 Years
January 11-March 29 (9 weeks)
Saturdays 10:30-11:15am
No classes on February 8 or during March Break
This class blends the Orff and Kodály methods to inspire young children to explore music through singing, movement, and creating their own sounds with unpitched instruments. Incorporating the Dalcroze approach, students connect with rhythm and sound through physical movement, allowing them to experience music as a whole before analyzing or naming its concepts. Through games, songs, and interactive activities, children will explore the fundamental musical elements such as tempo, beat, pitch, melody, dynamics, and expression. This hands-on, immersive approach encourages creativity, exploration, and problem-solving, helping children grow through their musical experiences.
Session Tuition $180 plus HST
