AGES: 8-12

Saturday October 26, 2024

In music, a groove refers to a rhythmic pattern or ‘feel’. It often describes the way musicians play together, creating a compelling and engaging rhythm that encourages listeners to dance or tap along.
This workshop will introduce participants to a variety of basic rhythms, movement, and percussion instruments. A key focus will be on listening to one another and playing together, fostering a sense of collaboration and community. Each participant will be provided a set of drumsticks and is encouraged to bring their own bucket, personalized with a name tag. Feel free to get creative and make it your own! Join us for a fun and engaging musical experience!

Class fee: $25 + HST
